19 Months..where have you gone?

Wearing the girls swimming hat
Asleep with nigh nigh. He wraps it round himself and stuffs it in his mouth

Can you see why he gets away with "murder"? He is so cute

Well this little monkey turned 19 months last week. How time is flying by..

He is changing every week and is no longer my little baby
He is cheeky
He plays rough with his big sisters
He loves his food
He has an amazing vocab - ball, school, light, bike, quack, cake, mine, No, Pop, kick it and throws his hands in the ear and yells goal (yep there has been a little bit of coaching from Dad), you ready yet?, where is it?, got it
He has a head full of blonde curls, which I can't bring myself to have cut
He is currently getting all his molars, so isn't sleeping well
He doesn't stop..till he sleeps
He can't sit still - to play games, read a book, watch tv - he is always moving
He understanding of basic concepts and his ability to follow instructions amazes us everyday
He is loving going to "kool" school every Friday with Jane and Justine
He has an amazing eye for a ball and loves nothing more thank kickin around with Dad in the backyard
He can at times be very naughty..and is currently testing the boundaries
He has a favourite word, which he uses all day..NO
He loves copying his big sisters
He loves being outside
He is funny and cracks us up with his antics
He is an extrovert
He loves his big sisters and misses them dearly when they are at preschool
He gets away with a lot - its those blue eyes and cheeky smile
He has a favourite blanket which he calls Nigh Nigh and it goes to bed with him
He has mastered how to open all our baby gates and turn on our hotplates
He is TROUBLE but we love him

Fairy Party with New Wings

The girls had a fairy party to go to yesterday. Their fairy wings were looking a tad sad. So I whipped up these ones..Do you recognise the fabric Mum? I knew it would come in handy one day....

First Day of PreSchool

No tears. Just big smiles and "are you going yet mum?" They couldn't wait for me to leave them to it. What an achievement..I can't believe they have started preschool. It felt like we were never going to get there...

Its Been So "Ot"

"Ot" is Archie's new word for hot and everything is "OT" at the moment - his shoes, his food, my cup of coffee....

We ventured out of our lovely air conditioned house on Saturday and took the kids to the pool. Our little mermaids didn't want to come home. Archie wasn't that bothered but I think he is fighting a gastro bug as we speak which may explain his reluctance to get in. He still enjoyed paddling (how english!).

Some Updated Photos of the Girls

This is what they wore on the bottom end when we went to the play centre. Socks and sandals. I tried to convince them that we could just put the socks on when we got there. But they didn't want a bar of it!! Noice

The girls are growing up so fast. 3 weeks to pre-school (not that I am counting or anything) but they are so ready for there next challenge and are asking every time we drive past the school.."when do we start, Mum?". They had their needles last week and were both so brave. No tears. Just a little ouch from Georgia and watery eyes from Annabel. Georgia went first for the needles - she volunteered and Annabel insisted that Georgia go first. After Annabel's first needle. Georgia sidled up to her and said. "I told you it hurts Abel." And Annabel responded, "I know it hurts, I know." It was very funny
