Goodbye Baby Tooth

Annabel lost her first tooth yesterday. And not under normal circumstances. At 18 months of age she fell over her dolls pram and smashed her little tooth back into her gum. The dentists told us nothing could be done until it fell out. Fast forward to two months ago when we discovered an abscess on her gum. One dentist wanted to conduct root canal on her - they expected a 4 year old to sit still while they drilled her tooth!! We sought a second opinion from a pediatric dentists who decided to completely remove it..
It was all done under a GA and she was incredibly brave.......
The tooth fairy paid a visit last night and left her some money, which she has put in her piggy bank to buy us all Xmas pressies (aww sweet).
The husband of one of our friends thinks that its great..as he will now be able to tell the girls apart. (Thanks Nick).

Waiting to go in

Afterwards an icy pole helps

Itty Bitty Crocs...

The boy needed some shoes to wear in the garden. I don't think his leather sandal's were up to slopping in the dogs water bowl! I found these in target and just had to share. They are so cute and not to mention tiny!! Size 3/4...perfect for summer and the little man's intro to the beach at the end of the month!

We took them for a test drive in the backyard.....

they were fast.....

This is how he spends some of his day...

......Peering out his bedroom window looking for birds and yes...we have a climber. He is not afriad of anything and if its high..then its designed to be climbed!!!!

Spring time......

Spring wouldn't be the same without a visit to Floriade. We went a few times with friends and spent our time hanging our with the tulips and the petting paddock.

Some Recent Photos

Nothing exciting happening in our world at the moment. Its school holidays, the weather is beautiful and we are off to Floriade tomorrow so I will be back with some more photos later. But I did get a job and I suppose after 4 years of mat leave that is pretty exciting. The girls are a bit concerned and Annabel keeps telling me "but Mummies don't work" and "who is going to look after me." Its just weekend work and I get to surround myself with new kitchens, bathrooms and laundries (that we can't afford) at this place . It will be nice to do something different.
