Funny Things Nearly 4 Year Olds Say....
I just wanted to record some of the hilarious things that the girls are coming out with.....
G: "Mum I have done a fluff in my mouth"
Me: Trying not to laugh hysterically while driving the car and working out that she actually means a burp.

Annabel is fascinated with weddings at the moment and getting married. She loves looking at our wedding photos and thinks that our wedding day was a special day that Mum got to dress up and be a princess (awww.. sweet!). There has been a lot of talk about weddings as my friend Carla is getting married this weekend.
A: "Mum when I get married can I wear a curtain on my head."
Me: Laughing and realising that she actually means a veil
A: "Mum when I get married will you take me?"
Me: "Of course I will. Daddy and I will walk you down the aisle."
A: "Can I have a wine?"
Me: Laughing.."Yep you can have as many as you like!"

This following conversation is happening every time we are out. Every time I hear the word girls..I start to feel myself going red!
After waiting nearly 45 minutes yesterday to see the Dr yesterday and entertaining the girls with books and completing every puzzle in the Dr's surgery the receptionist says....
"What wonderful girls you are being. So very well behaved."
A: "We are not girls. I am a mermaid and Georgia is a fish leaf." (We have no idea what a fish leaf is but apparently they blow bubbles).
Receptionist: "I knew that. You are being a great mermaid and fish leaf." Looking at me she asks if they are twins??...and before I can respond
G: "We are not twins. Twins are yuck." (This is where I explain to the girls that twins are special.
Receptionist: "And how old are you?"
A: "I am 3 and Georgia is 4 and my mum is 30"
And the funny thing is that I don't think the receptionist actually believed I was 30..she thought I was older. I must be looking tired and old!!

The First Day of Winter.....
This morning we rugged the kids up, met up with some friends, grabbed some coffees and headed to the fort park, down on the lake.
A fun morning was had by all. The weather in Canberra has been beautiful but today was bleak!
Autumn was great - fine weather, the leaves turning beautiful colours and sunny days..but today we knew winter was well and truly here!
